Given our extensive experience in Software development for the Machine manufacturing Domain, we have found there is always a good scope for using the Ethernet based Fieldbus, EtherCAT. The Ethernet based fieldbus, EtherCAT is best suited for real time requirements of the modern day production units. A record 1000 visitors more than double of that in the previous years shows how much mindshare and interest the Qt framework is creating. At e-GITS we presented our latest apps created with QML/3D and received very positive feedback from an enthusiastic audience. Also the Qt training we held at the Dev Days found excellent resonance. The 2010 Eurovision contest held in Oslo this June was watched by millions of excited fans in Europe. Qt again played a significant role in the background! The Qt based application developed by e-GITS was used to control and configure all the audio data files created in the contest. It goes without saying that since this was a live performance, the highest quality and reliability was demanded. The application created by e-GITS delivered on the most demanding requirements without missing a tone !

We're presenting our latest Qt apps targetting embedded devices and will show how easy it is to deploy these apps to different platforms (Symbian, Embedded Linux, Linux & Windows).

We develop customized mutli-touch gestures for our customer applications. We are convinced that the trend to applications capable of handling mutli-touch will increase exponentially over the next months and years. For the high end mobile devices, Multi touch enabled applications are already very popular. Qt is now available under the LGPL license. This would enable customers developing proprietary applications to use the Qt libraries without being forced to release the source code of the proprietary portions of their application to others. more...
